Cause:
- Heavy Traffic
- Repeated sliding of heavy furniture.
- Water used in maintenance.
- Seen especially in peeled-face engineered products under desks with heavy foot and caster wear.
Cure: Sand and refinish, then implement better maintenance practices. Change casters to wide, non-marking rubber if necessary.
